Homepage

I want my homepage to feature bold font and an aesthetic image that I directed and shot. This is my first impression on people so it has to be good AMAZING! Like I mentioned I want it to be simple, minimal, and intelligent. I am still trying to decide but I have a couple ideal images listed in this post...

Stylish

The type of aesthetic that I am going for with my website is clean, minimal, and intelligent. What I mean by intelligent is that I want singular concepts in my website to be expressed in a different manner, but just as easily interpreted as it is in its original state. I want viewers to see that conventional ideas can be used and manipulated in a way that is wholesomely different than what they have witnessed before.

Welcome to Week 2 of E-Portfolio

My name is Julia Fletcher and I am a Fashion Marketer at the good ol' Art Institute of Seattle.
ABOUT// I am originally from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. I moved here when I was about 15. I speak Portuguese, Spanish, and English. I pass off as a pretty great white girl though so no one really knows the wiser. I have a psychology degree from Seattle University which pretty much means if I wanted to I could be a high school councilor **rolls eyes**. I distrust people who say that they miss high school because it was the best time in their life.
INTERESTS&HOBBIES// I will say good morning to dogs before I say good morning to people. I enjoy good wine and French/Japanese food, playing soccer, dancing, day-drinking, watching movies, sleeping, cleaning, painting, laughing my hot pants off, drawing, and listening to Edith Piaf records. I want to take down the patriarchy and I am a devout follower of the church of Rick Owens.
OCCUPATION// Currently I am a merchandiser at Club Monaco, soon to be Zumba instructor in the greater Seattle area.
WHY FASHION// I like fashion because I think its important to express yourself and wearing your expression is the best way to let people know what you're about. Psychologically speaking people determine things about you only after glancing at you for about 4-5 seconds. Make those seconds count. On an aesthetic level I love the art and finesse that some designers take, using their clothing to tell a story. Its even more amazing that you can wear that story. Smh -- fuckin luh it.
WHEN I GROW UP// I want to be a creative director but REALLY I want to partner with my best friend and start our own specialized company.
EXTRA// Feed me food and I'll be your ride or die.
